Conjured from a dark basement in St Peter Port, Guernsey, the Basement Preachers began writing their unique dark folk Americana in 2019.
Their musical stine combines finger-style guitar and soaring viola with sassy and sorrowful lyrics.
Their songs are an eclectic mix, ranging from Bluesy Americana and haunting sea-songs to folk harmonies, exploring universal themes of love, loss, death and snoring (!) through the lens of local history and legend.
