Next up in our St James presents series are Tantale on 29th November.
So far all the locals bands have given their ‘Presents..’ a special twist with extra performers, specially written music and great decorations. Tantale is taking it one step further by asking the audience to be part of the show. We caught up with Graham Duerden to tell us more:
“We are aiming to create a loft party/MTV Unplugged/ Arthouse kind of vibe. The evening will start off with our fantastic acoustic support acts Jacques Evans and Kiya Ashton, followed by acoustic versions of track not found and The Recks, building up to the main part of the show, when everything goes crazy.”
But there is not just the music to enjoy. Graham tells us that there will be choreographed dancers in between the audience, video projections and lasers to watch, creating an audio/visual spectacular.
So how can the audience join in, it is called ‘Be The Show’ after all?
“The whole show will be filmed and recorded live, with the result given out free to those who wish. Be reflected! Come as your selfie self, either dressed up or down. Be ordinary. Be extraordinary. Interact with the dancers or just observe. Be background, be an extra or a star in this melodic, ambient grunge, alternative pop arthouse moviegig.”
It sounds like a fantastic show. Make sure you are part of it.
