We are Monk, we play Funk.
Monk are an instrumental funk band formed in Guernsey in 2023. The current lineup features Sam Orchard on Trumpet and Dean Winsall on Tenor Sax, whilst the rhythm section is made up of Sam McKerrell on Guitar, Pip Orchard on bass and Darran James on drums. Playing music by the JB’s, Maceo Parker, and many other funky artists, we can assure you that everything we do gonna be funky.
