Australian-born and now London-based, Lewis Moody is a dynamic keyboardist, music producer, mix engineer and label owner whose creative fingerprints can be found across a wide range of modern jazz, soul, and electronic projects. As a co-founder of Energy Exchange Records—launched in 2022 alongside Ziggy Zeitgeist and Maytra—Moody is helping shape a transcontinental sound rooted between Berlin and London.
Known for his fluid musicianship and propensity for bending genre, Moody has performed and recorded with acclaimed artists such as Nubiyan Twist, Emma-Jean Thackray, Cherise, and Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange. Through Energy Exchange Records, he continues to support and amplify forward-thinking music, with recent projects including EX Generation’s The Napoli Exchange and the bold, expansive fifth studio album from Zeitgeist Freedom Energy Exchange, INSPIRE//RADICALISE—a double LP exploring the intersections of disco, jazz, and underground club culture.
In the studio, Moody has become increasingly recognised for his distinctive production style, which blends jazz, electronic music, and soul with a warm, textural touch. His production and mix credits include work for Cherise, Don Glori, Alexander Flood, 30/70, and Zola Marcelle—projects that reflect his musicality and ear for detail across genres and borders.
In addition to his collaborative work, Moody also releases music under the moniker GOODMOOD. With his debut EP times and a growing series of soulful bootleg edits—all released via Energy Exchange—GOODMOOD sees Moody delving into the shared terrain between jazz, broken beat, and house.
