Box Office
The box office is open from 9am – 2pm on weekdays. Our staff will be happy to help you chose your tickets in person, or you can call the box office on 711361 to order your tickets by phone. Alternatively all tickets are also available online through our ticketing partner Eventbrite.
If your tickets are waiting for collection, there is no need to collect before the show day, just come a bit early and pick them up from the box office, which opens 45 minutes before the show.

St James has easy wheelchair access to the Whittaker Hall and all levels of the Dorey Centre. Please let the team know if you are booking a ticket for a wheelchair user, so the we can adjust seating in the required space.

A hearing loop is installed in the Whittaker Hall.

Event tickets can be bought online, through Eventbrite, or in person at the Box Office on week days from 9am – 2pm. You can also call the Box Office on 711361 during opening hours to buy your tickets over the phone.

Eventbrite charges a booking fee when buying tickets online. However, you can pop in to St James on week days from 9am – 2pm, or call the Box Office on 711361 to avoid this charge.
In general doors open 30 minutes before the performance starts.
However, we open the doors and bar 1 hour before comedy nights start. So why not come in early, grab a drink and get ready for a great night?
Parking on the forecourt is strictly limited and is therefore not permitted without prior arrangement.

Please don’t bring your own drinks or food to a show. Our bars are open and fully stocked with drinks and snacks.
It will be advertised on the event info, when the café is open for pre-show food. If it is not mentioned on the event info, the café will be closed.
Age restrictions or guidance will be given in the event details
We ask you not to bring your dog to a St James event, unless they are a registered guide or support dog.
If you have bought your ticket online, please request a refund through Eventbrite. For tickets purchased from the Box Office, please call 711361 to discuss your refund.

There is no lift to the balcony area of the hall, and the viewing gallery is not accessible.
We do however have a lift in the newer part of the building to take you up to the Café or down to the lower ground.
