Event Details

Psychology in the Pub (PiP) events are national meetings held across the United Kingdom and are fully supported by the British Psychological Society. They are informal events that involve a talk by a Psychology professional on their area of expertise or interest, followed by questions and discussion with the audience. The event is free and open to all members of the general public. We are re-launching PiP in Guernsey in 2022 after the event being put on hold due to Covid restrictions. The aim of PiP is to present a range of topics within the field of psychology and promote knowledge and discussion within our
community.

Dr James Murray presenting on assessing and dealing with risk- “Just how dangerous is that? How we struggle to assess risks, and what psychology can teach us to become better at it”

Doors open at 6pm, the talk will last about 1 hour and there will be some time afterwards to allow for discussion.
