Event Details

A night celebrating new and original choral works by local musician and internationally award winning composer, Lydia Jane Pugh. Inspired by our beautiful island her work often reflects the imagery, atmosphere, and history of Guernsey. This concert will ‘bring home’ Lydia’s music, much of which has only been performed in the USA. Highlights will include the world premiere of her piece ‘Spirits of the Lager Sylt’, and the first local performance of her award-winning piece, ‘Adiraï (Misplaced)’ which was awarded the Nathan Davis Prize in Composition.
Local choir, ‘The Accidentals’ as well as invited singers from across the island will join Lydia and musical director Marilyn Pugh, with piano accompaniment from Jack Colley.
