Jewellery Making Workshop
with Athene Sholl

Saturday Session 1 10am – 12pm | Session 2 1.30pm – 3.30pm

Going through the process of reclaiming beads and creating new pieces. Athene will talk through the process, from knowing what to look for and what to avoid, to how to use finds to remake new pieces and finish them professionally. Create new earrings, bracelets and necklaces and learn a new skill.

Beads will be supplied, but if you have any you wish to bring along to make into something please feel free to.

There are 2 sessions; 10am – 12pm and 1.30pm – 3.30pm

This workshop takes place in the hall, and is recommended for people aged 14+.

Creating Story Songs
with Maryen Cairns

Saturday 10am – 12pm

Singer Songwriter Maryen Cairns leads a lyric driven group songwriting experience creating a new song inspired by Guernsey Folklore.

This workshop takes place in the  Dorey Room.

DRY GRASS COILING
with FRANCES LEMMON

Saturday 12pm – 2pm

Join Frances to use dried grass to create baskets, place mats and coasters.
Materials will be supplied.

PAINTING STEP BY STEP
with BOZENA POLLOCK

Sunday 10am – 12pm, Dorey Room

Join Bozena for a session learning how to paint a landscape while exploring drawing and colour mixing.

This event takes place in the hall at St James.

Suggested for ages 7+ (parental supervision required)

Embroidery Workshop
with Jenny Mahy

Sunday 10am – 4pm

Join Jenny with this full day session to learn the art of mindfulness stitching, using a stitching techniques to make a scenic poppy picture.
Materials will be supplied, but if you are able to please bring a basic sewing kit of sewing needles and small scissors this may be helpful!
10 free spaces available – please make sure to book a ticket if you would like to attend. This is an all day event, with an hour lunch break.

This workshop takes place in the hall, and is recommended for people aged 12+.

Life Drawing
with Caitlin Grupping

Sunday 1pm – 3pm

After hosting successful monthly  life drawing sessions at the Golden Lion, Caitlin brings her workshop to St James for an introduction. Materials will be supplied.
