Afro Beats and Space Pirates at St James

After a bit of a break over the summer (with the exception of the Guernsey Gigs Unplugged Club) live music returned to St James in full force on the weekend of Friday 25th and Saturday 26th September as Yaz and Lula & Gene played in the new cafe on Friday and The Space Pirates Of Rocquaine made a triumphant return to the main hall on the Saturday.

With the newly refurbished St James Cafe putting on a Moroccan themed menu and with some matching hints of decor to reflect the music of the night’s headliners, Yaz, it was recently formed duo Lula & Gene who started the live music.
